Margarette D Kidd

Margarette Kidd, age 72, widow of Harold Kidd, from Pine Knot, KY., passed away on Saturday, November 26^th at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. 

She was born September 14 1950 in Iaeger, West Virginia  to the late Homer Deskins and Frances (Garner) Deskins. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and studying the Bible, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandbabies and family.  Margarette attended East Pine Knot Tabernacle Church of God and was a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her loving husband of 48 years, Harold Kidd, she is preceded in death by her brothers; Johnny, Danny and Jerry Deskins, and sisters; Peggy Champ, Faye Blevins, Debbie Blankenship and infant sister; Betty Jane Deskins.

Margarette is survived by her son; Matthew Kidd and wife, Andrea Nichole "Nikki" of Whitley City, daughter; Tracy Tolliver and husband, Michael of Winchester, KY., brother; Van Deskins and wife Charla of Beckley WV., sisters; Sheila Bradford and husband Sammy of Sanford, NC., Judy Deskins and husband, Sam of CA., grandchildren; Joshua Wayne, Michaela Danielle and Greyson Matthew, special niece; Angie Milam, along with numerous other nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Margarette will be held Thursday, December 1^st at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow in the Kidd Family Cemetery.
