Margaret Diane Waters

Margaret Diane Waters age 60 of Stearns, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, June 29, 2020 at the Baptist Health of Corbin. 

She was born February 22, 1960 in Jellico, Tennessee to the Ambrose Bryant and Pauline (Bryant) Stephens. Diane is preceded in death by her father and a brother, Danny Bryant. 

Surviving family include her husband, Joey Waters; her children, Cecil Allen Strunk, Kevin Dale Strunk, and their father, Dale Strunk, of Whitley City, Kentucky; her stepchildren, Kaitlin Waters and fiancé, Blake Mounce, of Somerset, Kentucky, Joey Lucas Waters of Stanton, Kentucky, and Cory Patrick of California; grandchildren, Jacklyn Stephens, Skylar Strunk, Logan Strunk, Molly Ann Strunk, Daxter Strunk, Abel Tarter, and Remy Mounce; and a great-grandson, Chase Allen Strunk. 

Also surviving is Diane’s mother, Pauline Stephens; brothers, Wesley Stephens and Warren Stephens, both of Whitley City, Kentucky, Wallace Stephens of Williamsburg, and George Stephens, of Tennessee; sisters, Tina Jacobs of Lexington, Kentucky, Janie Hunt of Monticello, Kentucky, Rosa Stanton of Eubank, Kentucky, Wanda Lay of Whitley City, and Edna Stephens of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 after 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will take place.
