MaKenzie Paige West

MaKenzie Paige West, of Strunk, Kentucky, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.  She was 19 years, five months and 14 days old.

Paige was born in Somerset, Kentucky, on June 12, 1995.  She was the daughter of Shannon “Bud” and Tiffeny Jean (Ross) West.  She is survived by her parents Bud and Tiffeny West of Strunk, a sister Whitney RaShae West of Strunk, Grandparents; Jack and Pernie (Burchfield) West and Bob and Ramona Ross all of Strunk, a brother; Alex Phillips of Stearns and aunts and uncles; Sandy (and John) Bruce of Strunk, Jacqueline West of Somerset, Robert Shawn Ross (and Amy) of Lexington and Ashley West of Pine Knot.

Paige was a McCreary Central High School graduate of the Class of 2014.  She fought a good fight, she finished her course with much courage and grace and she kept the faith.  She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2014, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Braxton King officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Silerville Cemetery in Strunk.  Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until time for services.
