LULA KILBY MADISON

Ms. Lula Kilby Madison, age 57 of Pine Knot passed away on Saturday December 8, 2007 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

Funeral services will be Tuesday December 11, 2007 at 12pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. William Kilby and Bro. Boyd Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Kilby Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-9pm at the funeral home.

She was born in Lynch, Kentucky on January 31, 1950 to the late William David Kilby and Ms. Rosalie Roe Kilby of Pine Knot. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by 2 brothers David Lee and Charles Eric Kilby.

Survivors include her mother, Rosalie Kilby of Pine Knot, and 3 daughters, Tammy Rae Perry and her husband Ledford Wayne, and Tonya Renee Crabtree, both of Pine Knot. And Toni Craig and her husband Kenneth Michael of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. There are 2 sisters, Cleda Gray and Rosetta Waters both of Pine Knot. There are also 12 grandchildren surviving.

Lula was a member of the Mt. Pleasant United Baptist Church, and had been attending Somerset Community College on her way to obtaining a Bachelors Degree. She also enjoyed quilting and sewing.
