LORETTA FRANCES BALL

Loretta Frances Ball, age 72, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019, at her home in Strunk, Kentucky.

Mrs. Ball was born in Jellico, Tennessee, on July 1, 1946, the daughter of the late Arthur and Ollie (Blevins) King. 

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a great-grandson, Rhylen Chase, brothers: Andrew King and Wilburn King and infant brother, Robert Kenneth King and four sisters: Ella Taylor, Flora Lloyd, Rosellen Stephens and Opal King Slattery.

Surviving family include her husband, Earl Ball whom she married July 10, 1965, a son: Randall Ball (wife Melanie) of Strunk, daughter, Rhonda Foster of Winfield, Tennessee, a sister, Donna Branscum, nine grandchildren: Amanda Ball, MaKayla (and Cameron) Ball, Jazmine Reagan, Jordan (and Kameron) Wilson, Tristan Ball, Karmon Ball, Jacob (and Chealtzie) Bobbitt, Kristen (and Brian) Bailey, and Emily Foster.  Great grandchildren are: Weston Bobbitt, Rhyder Bobbitt, Zaylee Moore, Maddox Bailey, Knox Wilson and Jett Wilson.  Her special friends are: Sheila Bullock, Deborah McDowell, Clara Lee Meadows, Robin Stephens, Carey Hampton, and Chelsea Felts.  She has three special nieces: Beverly Taylor Williams, Charolette Taylor Keeney, and Fran Branscum Gay and two special nephews: Robert Branscum and Eddie Branscum. Loretta is also survived by a host of additional nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends she loved dearly. 

Loretta was of the Baptist faith, having been saved at an early age. She was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. In her spare time she enjoyed working in her flower garden and playing bingo and scrabble.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 22, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Jones Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 noon until time for services.
