LEWIS P. MARCUM

Lewis Marcum, age 73, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on June 9, 2013.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 14, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Stephens and Bro. Ralph Marcum officiating. Interment will be at the Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 noon until time for services.

Lewis was born on June 10, 1939 in Stearns, Kentucky. He was the loving son of the late Harold "Buster" and the late Grace Marcum. He was the loving husband of Jeanine Marcum. Loving Father to Andy (Robin) and Tony (Mary) Marcum, Wendy (Bob) Fox. Loving brother to Marilyn Whiteman, Allen Marcum, Shirley Keim, Linda (Rusty) York, Mike (Susan) Marcum, Kathy Woods, Katie Murphy, Ralph (Sue) Marcum. He is preceded in death by his first wife Donna Ann Marcum, his daughter Carla (John) Luebbe, sister Wilma Wright and his brother Kenny Marcum. Proud Grandfather to 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, uncle to many nieces and nephews and friend to all that knew him

Lewis was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Kraft Foods where he drove a truck for 25 years. Lewis was the former owner of Industrial Machine & Tool Company in Somerset. He was an avid fisherman, loved horses, spending time with his family and living life to the fullest.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy may take form of donations to the Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
