Lessie Faye Moore

Lessie Faye Moore age 85 of Pine Knot, formerly of Covington, Kentucky passed from this life on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, peacefully at home.

Born September 6, 1938 in Pine Knot, she was the daughter of the late William and Flonnie (Barnett) Hayes. In addition to her parents, Faye is preceded in death by her husband, Quillie Ray Moore; brothers, George, Danny, William Ray, Homer, Bruce, Ronald, and Harold Hayes; and sisters, Wanda Hayes, Mary Lou Hayes, and Cosetta Ferguson.

Surviving family include her daughter, Theresa Lynn Moore of Taylor Mill, Kentucky; a sister, Pearl Murphy of Revelo, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In keeping of her wishes, Faye was cremated. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday after 11:00 am until service time.
