Leslie "George" Swain

Leslie “George” Swain, age 41, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, passed away Monday March 23, 2015 at his home.

Born in Somerset, Kentucky, on February 10, 1974, he was the son of Leslie and Bonnie (Ridner) Swain.  He is preceded in death by his father.

Surviving family include his mother Bonnie Swain of Parkers Lake, a brother Randy (and Ann) Swain of Whitley City, Kentucky, and two sisters; Fonda (and Ralph) Vanover of Parkers Lake and Melissa (and Douglas) Ridner of Parkers Lake and several nephews 

George had worked for Johnny Ball in the log woods and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and rooster fighting. 

Funeral service will be Friday, March 27, 2015 at 2:00pm in the chapel of the Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Ridener officating with burial to follow in the Pleasant Knob Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 1:00pm until funeral time at the funeral home.
