KENNETH MARCUM

Mr. Kenneth Marcum, age 57, formerly of Pine Knot, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at Dishman's Personal Care Center in Monticello, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 8, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Harry Waters officiating. Burial will be in the Angel Cemetery in Stearns, Kentucky. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 a€" 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Born October 14, 1949, in Somerset, Kentucky, Kenny was the son of the late Harold Preston and Grace Edwards Marcum. He was the husband of Joyce Marcum and father of two sons, Kent Marcum of Whitley City and Rocky Marcum of Richmond, Kentucky. He had four brothers, Ralph (and Sue) Marcum of Pine Knot, Lewis (and Jeanine) Marcum of Somerset, Sherrill Allen (and Milly) Marcum of California, Michael (and Susan) Marcum of Mt. Healthy, Ohio. He had six sisters Marilyn Whiteman of Cincinnati, Shirley Kiem of Ft. Wright, KY, Linda (and Rusty)York of Greensburg, Indiana, Kathy Woods of Bethel, Ohio, Katie (and Larry) Murphy of Stearns, and Wilma Faye Wright who is deceased.

Kenny served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He was a music lover, enjoying playing his guitar and singing. He had attended the Whitley City Second Baptist Church.
