Karl C. Ridener

Mr. Karl C. Ridener, age 60 of Sawyer, Kentucky, passed away on Friday December 26, 2008 at his home. Funeral services were held Monday, December 29, 2008, at 2pm at the Sawyer Church with Rev. Daniel Ridener officiating. Burial will be in the Sawyer Cemetery. He was born at Devil Creek in Sawyer, Kentucky, on February 25, 1948, son of the late Wiley "Yank" and Elsie Perkins Ridener. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Marie Ridener and a brother, Cecil Ridener and two sisters, Geneva Perry and Cindy Ridener. Survivors include his companion, Sheryl Spetz of Sawyer and two sons, Karl Curt Ridener Jr. of Parkers Lake, and Arlo Curtis Ridener of Elizabethtown, Indiana. There are three daughters, Kathilene Carol Ridener of North Vernon, Indiana, Geneva Joe Ridener of Parkers Lake and Diana Sue Smith of Elizabethtown, Indiana. He is also survived by one brother, Leonard Ridener of Parkers Lake and seven grandchildren. Mr. Ridener was a self-employed contractor and served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. Pine Knot Funeral Home assisted the family of Mr. Karl Ridener in his funeral arrangements.
