Judy Ann (Creekmore) Salyer age 69 of Stearns, Kentucky passed from this life on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
She was born October 19, 1951 in Whitley City, Kentucky to the late Lawrence Wood and Connie Mary Creekmore. In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Salyer; a brother, James Ray Creekmore; sisters, Angela Joan Lamb and Doris Roselee Allen; and daughter-in-law, Sarah Delap.
Surviving family include her children, Melissa Raeline Bradley (Lee) of Somerset, Stanley Gordon Salyer Jr., (Tasha) of Indiana, Eric Ray Creekmore (Danielle) of Florida, Anthony Dale Delap of Whitley City, and James Oral Salyer of Somerset; a brother, Michael Creekmore (Linda) of Williamsburg; sisters, Martha Sharon Creekmore of Indiana, Mary Karen Jones of Stearns, and Darlene Creekmore of Whitley City; and a special niece, Patricia Lynn Stephens.
Also surviving are Judy’s grandchildren that she loved dearly, Kayla Wolfe, Brittany Delap, Josh Bradley, Malachi Creekmore, Bryson Delap, Destiny Delap, Jerrick Norris, and Stoney Creekmore; and great-grandchildren, Peyton, Korbin, Holden, Xavier, Ayden, Avary, Piper, Aiden, Kaiden, and Alaya.
Judy was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. She loved to bargain shop, especially at the flea-market and good will. Judy enjoyed playing games and slot machines. She also enjoyed music. Her favorite song was Amazing Grace and she loved to listen to anything by the Singing Cooks. Judy will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Fultz and Bro. Michael Creekmore officiating. Graveside service is to be held Monday, June 21, 2021 at 12:00 pm in the Pine Knot Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday after 5:00 pm at the church.
