JUANITA KING

Juanita (Bell) King, age 87, of Stearns, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at the McCreary Health and Rehab Center in Pine Knot, Kentucky.

Mrs. King was a homemaker and member of the Meadows Grove Baptist Church.  She been a member of the Disabled American Veterans and was a Kentucky Colonel. 

Born in Yamacraw, Kentucky, on February 21, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Willa (Lucas) Bell.  Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Dester King, a brother John H. Bell and three sisters; Gloria Elliott, Edna Bell and Jessie Wallin.

Surviving family include a son Danny D. King of Muncie, Indiana, a daughter; Gayle Hawk of Muncie, Indiana, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 27, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Sewell officiating.  Burial will be in the Angel Cemetery in Stearns, Kentucky.  Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time for services at the funeral home.
