JOSEPH E. TRAMMELL

Joseph E. Trammell, Jr. (Little Joe), age 66, of Pine Knot, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital's Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 23, 2013, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Boyd Rowe and Bro. Chad Starrett officiating. He will be laid to rest at the East Pine Knot Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 noon until time for services.

Joe had worked for HBD Industries in Oneida and was a US Army veteran, having served in Vietnam.

Born April 9, 1947, he was the son of Joseph E. Trammell and Clara D. (King) Trammell. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a step- son Joseph Lee Starrett, two brothers Bob and Freddie Trammell and a sister Norma Sue Neal.

Surviving family include his companion Wanda J. Starrett of Pine Knot, sons; Joseph A. Trammell, Winfield, Tennessee, Lonnie James (and Sherri) Trammell, Helenwood, Tennessee, Christopher Hobert Trammell, Somerset and step-son Chad Lee (and Tami) Starrett of Pine Knot, daughters; Tina Maria (and David) Gilreath of Somerset, Kimberli Noneda (and Eric) Moore, Somerset and step-daughter Tina Marie Dunn (and Brandon Duncan) of Pine Knot. He has four surviving brothers; Ronald (and Judy) Trammell, Cincinnati, Ohio, Homer (and Wanda) Trammell, Cincinnati, James H. Trammell, Pine Knot, and Kenny L. (and Elveria) Trammell, Pine Knot, and a sister Joyce Kidd of Pine Knot. Joe has 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
