JOSEPH VINCENT LAY

Mr. Joseph Vincent Lay of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away at his home on February 23, 2007, being 23 years, 8 months and four days old.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 26, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. William Clark officiating. Burial was in the Meadows Cemetery on Osborne Creek in Strunk, Kentucky.

Born on June 19, 1983, at Somerset, Kentucky, he was the son of Danny and Marilyn Lay of Indianapolis, Indiana. Preceding him in death are his grandfathers George Lay and H.P. Meadows, both of McCreary County.

Besides his parents, surviving family include two sisters Cynthia Meadows and Shonda Lay, both of Indianapolis, two brothers, Danny Allen Lay of McCreary County and Joshua Lee Lay of Indianapolis, a niece, Cheyann Sutt and a nephew Robby Roberts. Grandparents are Kathleen and Lee Roy Campbell and Norma Meadows of McCreary County, six uncles and seven aunts and many other family and friends. Joe will be missed by all.
