JIMMY PAUL DAVIS

Mr. Jimmy Paul Davis, age 55, of Jamestown, Tennessee, passed away Monday, June 29, 2009, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2009, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Ridener officiating. Burial will be in the Crockett Cemetery in Fentress County, Tennessee. Visiting hours are from 11:00 a.m. until funeral service time.

Jimmy was born September 4, 1953, in Fentress County, to the late Eugene Davis and Joyce Fowler. Also preceding him in death is a son Russell Paul Davis.

Surviving family include a daughter Emma Davis of Monticello, Kentucky, two brothers George Allen Davis of Oneida, Tennessee and David Eugene Davis of Morristown, Tennessee, six sisters: Cathy Patton of Winfield, Pauline Allen of Newport, Tennessee, Betty Ann Harding of Albany, Kentucky, Darlene Bussey of Norwood, Ohio, Marilyn Davis of Blaine, Tennessee and Marie Davis of Newport, Tennessee, his former wife Delphia Davis of Pine Knot and a special sister-in-law Dora West of Pine Knot. He was the grandfather of Ceria Davis of Muncie, Indiana and Dakoda Stephens of Pine Knot.
