Jewell Lynn Musgrove

Jewell Lynn Musgrove age 92 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at her home.

She was born March 6, 1927 in Jellico, Tennessee to the late Lewis and Mary Wright. Jewell was a member of the Pine Knot United Baptist Church.  She enjoyed being outside and working in her garden and planting flowers.

In addition to her parents, Jewell is preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Musgrove, sons, Steve Ronald Musgrove and Mike Edward Musgrove, brothers, Millard, Newman, Oscar, and Willard Wright, and sisters, Ruby Murphy and Verdie Thompson.
Surviving family include her sons, Dewayne Musgrove and David Bruce Musgrove, both of Pine Knot; a sister, Gertrude Cotton of Illinois; grandchildren, Tammy, Crystal and Sandra; and great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Alex, Jaden, Steven, Kevin, and Michael “Arron Eric”.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 1:30 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Bryant officiating. Burial to follow in the Pine Knot Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday after 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
