JESSIE MICHAEL DOPLE

Jessie Michael Dople, age 52 of Pine Knot, passed away on Wednesday September 24, 2008 at the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville.

Funeral services will be Saturday September 27, 2008 at 2pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Clay Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the T. Chitwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12 noon Saturday until funeral services time at 2. The family request contributions be made to assist with funeral expenses.

He was born in Jellico, Tennessee on October 2, 1955. Son of Faye Perkins Dople of Pine Knot and the late Joe C. Dople. He was a former employee of the R.F. Neal Funeral Chapel and a member of the Meadows Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Wilma Martin Dople of Pine Knot, a son, Michael Joe Dople and a daughter, Mara Whitney Dople, both of Pine Knot.

Surviving brothers include, Jerry, Wayne, Jeffery, Gary, Wendell, Stanley, Connie, Teddy and Charlie Dople. And 4 sisters, Janet Roberts, Gail Myers, Donna Davenport and Barb Slaven. A brother Ricky Joe precedes him in death.
