JERRY DALE STRUNK

Jerry Dale Strunk, age 63, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away
Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee.

Born in Covington, Kentucky, on  November 16, 1958, he was the son of the late Jerry Dale Strunk, Sr. and Mary Ellen (Owens) Strunk.  Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a special companion, Vanessa Daugherty and two nephews: Jacob Davis and Jimmy Lee Strunk. 

Surviving family include his wife, Lisa (Stephens) Strunk, two sons: Jon Strunk (Sarah) of Stearns, Kentucky, and Gerald Strunk of Pine Knot, a daughter, Sally Strunk of Pine Knot, a brother: Jimmy Strunk (Carla) of Pine Knot, three sisters: Dianne Tucker (Kenneth, deceased) of Whitley City, Kentucky, Mary Warf (Wi9llie Myers) of Pine Knot, and Susie Davis (Kirby Adams) of Somerset, grandchildren: Destiney  Penney (Dillan), Desiree Rose (Christopher), Courtney Bryant and Cody Bryant, great grandchildren: Brayden Penney, Brinsley Penney, and two on the way: Brexlyn Penney and Liam Rose.  Also, there are four nephews: Tom Strunk (Tasha), Billy Joe Strunk (Brittany), Richard Stephens (Tiffany), and Travis Warf (Alyssa), and two nieces: Amanda Baird (Josh) and Brandy Perry (Charles).

Jerry enjoyed fishing and working on vehicles.  He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.  He enjoyed life to its fullest and liked teasing people and making them  laugh.

Funeral services will be held at the Round Top United Baptist Church on Tuesday March 1, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Daniel Trammell officiating.  Burial will be at the Smith Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the church.
