JERRY C. DOPLE

Jerry Clayton Dople, age 67, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021, at Baptist Health of Corbin.

Born in Creekmore, Kentucky, on May 8, 1954, he was the son of the late Joe C. and Faye (Perkins) Dople. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers: Ricky Joe, Jessie Michael, Dwain, and Gary Dople, and a sister, Gail Dople Myers. A niece Layla Angel Dople and nephews Wendell Leon Dople Jr. and Donnie Paul Davenport.

He is survived by three children: Betty Perkins (Danny) of Loyall, Kentucky, April Wyatt (Tim) of Troy, Ohio, Jarrod Dople (Skyla) of Loyall, KY. Three sisters: Janet Roberts (Eddie) of Pine Knot, Donna (Dople) Ball of Parkers Lake, KY, and Barbara Dople of Pine Knot, six brothers: Jeffery, Wendell, Stanley, Connie, all of Pine Knot, Teddy (Hope) of Strunk, Charlie (Judy) of Strunk, and a sister-in-law: Wilma Dople. A host of nieces and nephews and also, the mother of his children Debi Buell.

Jerry had ten grandchildren: Danny Perkins, III, Lindsay Perkins, Charlie Wyatt, Nathan Wyatt, Jarrod Dople, II, Desmond Dople, Brantley Dople, Jayla Dople, Cash Dople, Greyson Dople, and three great grandchildren: Chloe Perkins, Sydnee Perkins and Bexlee Pace.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Clay Cook officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 noon until time for services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the T. Chitwood Cemetery.
