Jamie Todd Hamlin

Jamie Todd Hamlin age 37 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, July 25, 2022 in Stearns, Kentucky.

He was born January 5, 1985 in Somerset, Kentucky to Randall Wayne “Randy” Hamlin and Lawanna (Baird) Hamlin Chesnut.

Preceding him in death is his father, Randy; a sister, Traci Lynn Adkins; grandparents, Bob & Joan Hamlin, James & Nina Baird, Granny Pauline Hamlin, and Granny Darlene Ball.

Surviving family include his wife, Tiffany (Wilson) Hamlin and their children, Allie, Kendall, and Kolton; his mother, Lawanna Chesnut and step-father, Fred; his big brother, Michael Hamlin; his granny, Jonell Greer; a special nephew, Cade Adkins; aunts and uncle, Linda & Gorman Bryant and Kathy Baird; and cousins, Junior, Beth, and Adam.

Jamie was a disabled Veteran of the United States Army who was proud to serve his country. During his enlistment, he toured in Afghanistan twice. Jamie loved being in the Army and following in the footsteps of the military men in his family.  Jamie loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, riding side by sides, and camping. He also enjoyed sitting by the fire with his family. Jamie was very funny and had the best laugh. He was always willing to help someone in need. But above all things, Jamie was proud of his children and being a father. He was a very special person and although he has left us on Earth, we have faith he has gained a peace that cannot be found here.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. William Kilby and Bro. Craig Reed officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday after 5:00 pm until service time. Burial will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at the Bledsoe Family Cemetery in Pennington Gap, Virginia with full Military Honors provided.
