James Ray Creekmore

James Ray Creekmore II, age 41, passed away at the Big South Fork Medical Center on May 13, 2023.

James was born to the late James Creekmore and Darlene (Thompson) Creekmore in Somerset, Kentucky on October 4, 1981. James loved fishing, spending time with his family, and going to the flea market.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by : his sons, Isaac Lyons, of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, Jacob Creekmore, of Stanford, Kentucky; his brother, Jonathan Creekmore (Sarah), of Somerset; his sisters, Shena Branscum (Eric), of Stearns, Trish Creekmore, of Pine Knot; and a special nephew, Christian Anderson.

The family will hold a memorial gathering for James on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 12:00pm at the New Hope Baptist Church on Justus Mine Road in Stearns. In keeping with his wishes, James will be cremated.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the funeral home to cover costs of arrangements,

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
