JAMES "JAMIE" GRUNDY

James D. "Jamie" Grundy age 38 of Pine Knot, passed away on Wednesday June 17, 2009 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

Funeral services are scheduled for 8pm Friday June 19, 2009 at Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. William Kilby officiating. Burial services will be Saturday at 1pm at Pine Knot Cemetery with Bro. David Peters.

Jamie was born in Somerset on January 25, 1971. He was the son of the late James Grundy and Ms. Janice Pauline Waters Grundy. Janice survives and lives in Pine Knot. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Joe Stephens.

On June 17, 2000, Jamie married Joice Lane. The couple have 3 children, James Grundy Jr. age 8, Catherine Grundy age 6 and Elizabeth Grundy almost 2 years old. Also there are two step sons, Brandon Everman and Nathan Everman.

Also surviving are his brothers, Walter Wayne Miller of Pine Knot, Gary Waters of New Castle, IN, and Robert Lee "Moe" Stephens of Pine Knot. He has 2 sisters, Lisa Strunk of Revelo, and Sharon Privett of Nicholson, GA.
