James E. Gregg

Mr. James “Blaine” Gregg. Age 79, of Strunk, Kentucky passed away Friday April 3, 2015 at the Baptist Health of Corbin, in Corbin, Kentucky.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday April 7, 2015 at 1:00pm in the chapel of the Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Ridener officiating. Burial will follow in the Silerville Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday after 6:00pm at the funeral home.

He was born in Jonesboro, Tennessee to the late James E. and Gladys (Marrs) Gregg. Also preceding him in death is his son Richard Edward Gregg; one brother Earnest Gregg; three sisters Cora Rowland, Shelby Jean Heartman, and Clydie Stirgil.

Survivors include his wife Loretta (Tallman) Gregg who he married June 1, 1957; two sons John Blaine Gregg and wife Susan of Strunk, and James Farris Gregg and wife Gayle of Romulus, Ohio, two sisters Elizabeth Hashbarger, and Wanda Hill. Also left to mourn his passing are eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
