HAROLD STEPHENS

Harold Stephens, age 83, of Pine Knot, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at his home on Round Top Road.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Ridener officiating. Burial will be at the Pine Knot Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 noon until funeral service time.

Born March 11, 1927, in Pine Knot, he was the son of the late Crit and Grace Miller Stephens. Also preceding him in death are a son Martin Crit Stephens, a daughter Thelma Joann Smith, two brothers Lamoine and Jackie Clele Stephens, and two sisters Bessie King and Mary Faye Pierce.

Mr. Stephens has four surviving sons, Harold Dale Stephens of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, David Gerald Stephens of Show Low, Arizona, Michael Edward Stephens of Pine Knot, and Donald Troy Stephens of Junction City, Kentucky. There are four daughters, Peggy Ann Quinn of Junction City, Sally Jean Swift of Stanford, Kimberly Mae Brock of Danville and Teresa Jaclyn Guinn of Junction City. Brothers are Don Stephens of Indianapolis, Orville Ray Stephens of Pine Knot, and Ralph Edward Stephens of Naples, Florida. Sisters are Elsie Trammell of Eaton, Indiana, Annabelle Napp of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Shirley June Jasmine of Punta Gorda, Florida. He had 36 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
