Harold Wayne Kidd

Harold Wayne Kidd age 75, husband of Margaret (Deskins) Kidd, passed from this life on Friday, March 20, 2020 at his home.

He was born May 18, 1944 in London, Kentucky to the late Ventis Kidd and Dorothy Lois (Jones) Kidd. Harold is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Howard Kidd, and a sister, Ruth Gabehart. 

Surviving family include his wife, Margaret (Deskins) Kidd, whom he married on September 2, 1972; a son, Matthew Kidd and wife, Andrea, of Whitley City, Kentucky; a daughter, Tracy Tolliver and husband, Michael, of Winchester, Kentucky; grandchildren, Joshua Wayne Tolliver, Michaela Danielle Tolliver, and Greyson Matthew Kidd; and sisters, Fayerene King Sharpton and Nannie Mae Thackston.

Harold was a Veteran of the United States Army. He loved his family dearly and always enjoyed spending time with them. Harold also enjoyed working outside, gardening, and carpentry work. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

A Family Funeral Service was held on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Kidd Family Cemetery with Bro. Henry Daugherty officiating. Full military honors were provided by the American Legion Post 115 of Stearns, Kentucky.
