Gregory Alan Dobbs

Gregory Alan Dobbs age 38 of Stearns, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, December 25, 2020 at his home.

He was born January 1, 1982 in Springfield, Illinois to the late Donald Lee Dobbs and Connie Sue (Dennis) Dobbs. In addition to his parents, Gregory is preceded in death by his brother, Jason Dobbs. 

Surviving family include his wife, Amanda (Watson) Dobbs and their children, Tristan Alan Dobbs and Jacob Andrew Dobbs; a brother, Richard Brian Dobbs (Carol); sisters, Melissa King (Bryan) and Vicki Dobbs, all of Stearns, Kentucky; and 7 very special nieces and nephews. 

Gregory had worked as a butcher for Earl Anderson's Grocery as well as IGA and Save-A-Lot. He also enjoyed carpentry work, having worked for Monticello Flooring as well. In his spare time, Gregory enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on Chevrolet Trucks. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.  

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Rufus Hughes and Bro. Delmus Watson officiating. Burial to follow in the Corder Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. 

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
