GRACEY MAGGIE FOSTER

Ms. Grace Maggie Foster, age 85, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at the Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 13, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Harvey E. Corder officiating. She was laid to rest in the Cedar Grove Cemetery at Stearns, Kentucky.

Mrs. Foster was born on July 29, 1922, at Ritner, Kentucky in McCreary County to the late George W. and Susie Clark Jones. She was a homemaker and enjoyed going to church, gardening and working with her flowers.

Besides her parents, preceding her in death are her former husband Otis Clark, a son Thomas Clark, a daughter Lola May Risden, three sisters Nina Yancey, Nan Vaughn and Clarie Burks, two brothers Forty and Noble Clark, two infant daughters, an infant son and five grandchildren.

Surviving family include two sons Raymond (and Vonda) Clark of Monticello and Marty (and Audrey) Clark of Somerset, four daughters Bertha Clark of Revelo, Judy Privett of Stearns, Jewell (and Glen) Whitehead of Revelo and Ella (and Kenneth) Corder of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, and a daughter-in-law Theola Clark of Stearns. There are 26 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Ms. Foster has two surviving sisters Elsie Worley of Whitley City, and Laurie Vaughn of Clark Hollow in Stearns, and a brother George W. Jones of Monticello.
