GOLDIE F. NEAL

Goldie F. Neal of Pine Knot, passed away on Thursday August 13, 2009 at St. Mary's Scott County Hospital in Oneida, Tennessee. She was 64 years old.

Funeral services will be Sunday August 16, 2009 at 1pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Peters and Rev. Dan Ridener officiating. Burial will follow in the Upper Cal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6-9pm at the funeral home.

She was born in McCreary County on February 9, 1945, to Lonnie and Noneda Stephens Barnett. Ms. Noneda survives.

Survivors include her husband Tearl, and 2 sons, William Neal of Pine Knot, and Matthew Neal of Oneida, Tennessee. She has 3 sisters, Pamela Lay, Eula Phillips and Meralyn Alcorn. She has 4 grandchildren, Adam Neal, Amber Neal, Eddie Neal and Amanda Neal, and 2 grandchildren, Destiny Madden and Dalton Neal.

Goldie was a homemaker and a member of the Upper Marsh Creek Baptist Church.
