Gladys "Pat" Hill, age 64, of Lake City, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Darren Kidd officiating. Private graveside services will be held Sunday at the Mt. View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born July 20, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Ethel Crisp Phillips. Others preceding her in death are two sisters Laura Jane King and Zora Myers and three brothers Carlos Phillips, Alonzo Phillips and Luther Phillips Jr. Surviving family include a daughter Vicki Fozzard and her husband Jack of Lake City, Tennessee, three brothers Eugene (and Debbie) Phillips of Muncie, Indiana, Blaine (and Kathy) Phillips of Pine Knot, Wayne (and Patsy Lee) Phillips of Stearns, four sisters Dora Adkins of Divernon, Illinois, Imogene Watters of Oneida, Tennessee, Clotine (and Winfred) Clark of Somerset, Cora Alma "Mickie" (and Donald Lee) Maxwell of Stearns, a sister-in-law Julie Phillips of Stearns, and a brother-in-law Denzil King also of Stearns. There are three grandchildren Jerrilynn, Haley and Brody Keith.
Pat had been a hairdresser and a member of the Clay Hill Baptist Church in Wayne County. She was loved deeply and will be greatly missed.
