Geraldine M. Cannada

Ms. Geraldine M. Cannada, age 75 of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of McCreary County passed away on Tuesday August 18, 2009 in Cincinnati.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11am in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Brent Ford officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-9pm at the funeral home.

She was born in Ohio on April 3, 1934. She was the daughter of the late, James and Margaret Pelcha. Also preceding her in death was her husband Ernest who died in 1996, and 5 brothers, Junior, Johnny, William, Richard, and Lester. 5 sisters, Bertha, Tillie, Elizabeth, Mona and Wanda. There are several other deceased siblings that died in infancy.

Survivors include 3 sons, Ernest Dewayne Cannada, Terry D. Cannada and John Cannada. And 2 daughters, Brenda Morgan and Geraldine Elizabeth Cannada. There are 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She was a homemaker and attended and interdenominational church.
