GENEVA DAWSON

Ms. Geneva Dawson, age 85 of Pine Knot, passed away on Tuesday September 8, 2009 at her home.

Services will be at 1pm Friday September 11, 2009 in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Rufus Hughes and Rev. Tim Stephens. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery at Round Top.

Geneva was born in Revelo on February 24, 1924 to the late Robert Smith and Nora Bell Summers. She is also preceded in death by her husband Ray Dawson and a son, Jackie Dawson.

Survivors include 4 sons: V.J. Dawson of Covington, KY, Eddie Dean Dawson of Warsaw, IN, Ricky A. Dawson of Pine Knot, KY, and Curtis Dawson of Stearns, KY. She has one daughter, Bonnie Faye Allison of Silver Lake, IN. She has several brothers and sisters as well as 19 grandchildren, 4 great grandchild and 2 great great grandchild.

Ms. Dawson was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith.
