GARY C. WILSON

Gary Clifford Wilson, born January 24, 1949, in Somerset, Kentucky, to the late Clifford Wilson and Genell (King) Watters, left this life Thursday, February 27, 2014, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Taylor officiating. Burial will be at the Silerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 11 a.m. until time for services. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take form of contributions to the family for funeral expenses.

Gary was a self employed carpenter and brick mason.

Those who are awaiting on the other side are his parents and a brother Lowell Jay Wilson. Those he leaves behind are his wife Jacqueline (West) Wilson, of Strunk, Kentucky, sons; Gary Clifford Wilson, and Brian Patrick Wilson both of Williamsburg, Todd Ross of Whitley City, and step-children; Brooke Daugherty (and husband Joey) of Somerset, and Jason Duncan (and wife Carla) also of Somerset. He has a brother Donnie Wilson (and wife Darlene) of Fayetteville, Tennessee and three sisters; Kathy Stephens (and husband Garner) of Pine Knot, Joan Noble of Hubert Heights, Ohio, and Genell Jeffers (and husband Darron) of Oneida, Tennessee. His grandchildren are Ashton, Khloe, and Jack Daugherty. He has many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews including a special nephew Josh Wilson.
