Gail Reeves

Bonita Gail Reeves age 60 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, October 6, 2023 at the Baptist Health of Corbin.

She was born February 12, 1963 in Montgomery County, Ohio to Harold Reeves and Lois (Stephens) Reeves.

Gail is preceded in death by her father, Harold; a sister, Anita Mae Reeves; grandparents, Noah & Artie Mae (Lay) Stephens and Cager Lee & Nora (Paul) Reeves.

Surviving family include her mother, Lois Ann Reeves; a son, Kyle Vanover; a brother, Dale Reeves and wife, Carla; a nephew, Alex; nieces, Angelica Kaylee, Tarah, and Natasha; 2 great nephews, 4 great nieces, and numerous family and friends that loved Gail dearly.

Gail was an office manager. She always enjoyed family get togethers and family game night. Gail also enjoyed photos and scrap booking, she was the most creative and artistic person. She enjoyed going on vacations to the beach, camping, and concerts with friends. Gail was such a caring, jolly person, always making people laugh and would light up a room. She was generous with her family and friends. Gail loved deeply and with passion, her presence always made life better. She was a shining light of hope and would give everything she had for her son, her mother, her family, and her friends. The world just became a sadder place without her.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Boyd Rowe officiating. Burial to follow in the East Pine Knot Memorial Gardens, The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday after 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home.
