Foster D. Jones

Mr. Foster D. Jones, age 75, of Parkes Lake, Kentcky, passed from this life on Monday, February 2, 2015.

Foster was born January 28, 1940 to the late Henry and Linda (Foster) Jones. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Wiley and Kenneth Jones.

Surviving family include his wife Wanda (Judd) Jones of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; two sons Ronnie Jones and wife Emily of Pine Knot, Kentucky; Foster “Skip” Jones and wife Angie of Winfield, Tennessee; a daughter Debbie Sumner and husband Scott of Pine Knot, Kentucky; two step sons John Collier and wife Shellie of London, Kentucky and Ace Hughes and wife Elishia of London; two step daughters; Kim Burke and husband John of East Bernstadt, Kentucky and Shearl Hampton of London, Kentucky; a brother James Buddy Jones of Whitley City, four sisters; Eula Duncan of Oneida, Tennessee, Barbara Coffey of Alpine, Kentucky, Peggy Lair of Monticello, and Shirley McCloskey of Baltimore, Maryland. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, and seven step great grandchildren, and his mother-in-law Patsy Matthews of Greenwood.

Foster enjoyed fishing and hunting, but the thing he enjoyed most was truck driving which he did his entire life up until his death. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of the Whitley City 2^nd Baptist church. He was also a Kentucky Colonel

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Russell Keth officiating.  Burial will be at the Jones Family Cemtery in Greenwood, Kentucky.  Visitation will be Friday, February 6, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
