Floda Dora Neal

Floda Dora (Duncan) Neal, age 90, passed from this life on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Signature Health Care of Kentucky in Pine Knot, Kentucky.

Born in McCreary County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Flora Duncan Crabtree. Besides her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband Donald Odis Neal, a brother, James Abb Crabtree and two sisters: Juanita Grooms and Eloise Siler.

Surviving family include three sisters: Jimmie Stanley of Coeburn, Virginia, Flora Earline Sullivan (Gary) of Pine Knot, and Rena Carol Archuleta of Alta Loma, California. Nephews are James Good, Christoper Carter, Michael Cheek, and Ralph Stanley II. Nieces are Margaret McHatten, Miranda Dayton, Nicole Archuleta Rungel, Andrea Scott, Lisa Stanley Marshal and Tonya Stanley.

Floda was a member of the Kingtown Church and enjoyed singing and music, crocheting, gardening and she loved her cats.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Stephens officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Kingtown Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time for services at the funeral home.
