EVA KLUNDT

Ms. Eva Klundt, age 88, of Pine Knot passed away Friday, February 15, 2008, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February, 19, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Mitchell and Rev. William Kilby officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Smith Cemetery at Strunk, Kentucky. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Klundt had been a homemaker and had attended the Meadow Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and spending time with her family. She was born in McCreary County, Kentucky, on January 12, 1920, to the late Luther and Savannah Taylor Stephens. She was married to Gustav Klundt who precedes her in death. Also preceding her in death are four brothers, Prince, Paul, Howard and Cleve R. Stephens, and two sisters Edith Hammonds and Letha Stephens. Surviving family include a son Britt (and Sherry) Klundt of Knoxville, Tennessee, two brothers Amon (and Rosemary) Stephens of Somerset, Kentucky, and Joe Lee (and Glennis) Stephens of Oneida, Tennessee, and four sisters, Nannie (and Ronald) Griffith of Shephardsville, Kentucky, Trannie Bell of Shephardsville, Charlene (and Luster) Strunk of Strunk, Kentucky, and Faye Foster of Largo, Florida.
