Eula Honeycutt Phillips

Eula Phillips, age 70, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

Born in Pine Knot, Kentucky, on August 7, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Barnett and Noneda (Stephens) Barnett. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Barnett, her husband, Robert Phillips, and three sisters: Goldie Neal, Marilyn Alcorn and Pamela Lay.

Surviving family include her mother, Noneda Barnett of Pine Knot, a daughter, Rhonda Wright (husband Gary) of Burnside, Kentucky, three sons: Daniel Honeycutt (wife Ida) of Yuba City, California, Rocky Honeycutt (wife Angela) of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Mark Honeycutt of Hillsboro, Ohio.  She has nine grandchildren.

Eula was a homemaker and member of the Marsh Creek Baptist Church. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Peters officiating.  She will be laid to rest at the Upper Cal Hill Cemetery in Pine Knot.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 noon until time for services.
