ETTA J. MURPHY

Etta J. Murphy, age 43, of Pine Knot, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home, with Bro. Charles Smiddy officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 a€" 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Etta was born on March 1, 1967 in Pine Knot, Kentucky. She is the daughter of Beulah Faye Stephens, who is deceased. She is also preceded in death by a brother Jeffery Lovett and a sister Gwendolyn Lovett.

She was the wife of L.A. Murphy, of Pine Knot, and the mother of Christopher Murphy (and fiancAC. Kelly Jo Richardson) of Pine Knot, and Alisha Baird (and husband Warren) also of Pine Knot.

She was the sister of Scotty (and Patricia) Lovett of Pine Knot, David (and Lena) Lovett of Pine Knot, Lola Marie Perry, of Whitley City, James Soard of Whitley City, Dallas Soard of Cincinnati, Jo Marie Perry of Harrodsburg, Jenny Lynch of Whitley City and April Avery of LaGrange. She has two grandchildren Conner and Alexia and one on the way.
