Mrs. Etta Sue Ball, age 66 of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, January 21, 2007 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Taylor officiating. She was laid to rest in the Ball Family Cemetery in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons Brandon Williams, Gerald Ball, Stuart Lance, Jr., and Dustin Lance.

Mrs. Ball was born on February 25, 1940, in Harlan County, Kentucky, the only daughter of the late James F. and Cora Faye Bryant Noe. She was a member of the Beulah land Baptist Church in Resaca, Georgia.

Mrs. Ball is survived by her loving husband, Archie Ball of Calhoun, Georgia, daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Ronnie Dodd, Vickie Ball Lance all of Calhoun, Debbie and Michael Blackstock of Resaca, son and daughter-in-law Brian and Cindy Ball of Social Circle, Georgia. Grandchildren are Chandler Ball, Jason Ball, Brandon Williams, Chasidy Dodd, Gerald Ball, Stuart Lance, Jr., Dustin Lance, and Megan Lance. There are eight great-grandchildren. Brothers and sisters-in-law are James Robert "Bob" and Sue Noe of Crossville, Tennessee, Claude Edward and Joanne Noe of Hammersville, Ohio.
