Ellis Ray Taylor

Ellis Ray Taylor, age 72 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, January 12, 20221 at the Jellico Community Hospital in Jellico, Tennessee.

He was born in London, Kentucky on January 7, 1949 the son of Ellis and Arizona Taylor. Ellis was a truck driver and had served his country in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.  He enjoyed fishing and watching TV.

His parents precede him in death.

Survivors include his sons, Jared Petty of Pine Knot and Troy Taylor; daughter Nicole; and sisters, Carol, Kathy, and Mary.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time for services.
