Earl Edmond Ball

Earl Edmond Ball age 76 of Strunk, Kentucky passed from this life on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born June 18, 1945 in McCreary County, Kentucky to the late Earl Estus Ball and Pearl (King) Ball. Edmond enjoyed being outdoors coon hunting and horseback riding, but mostly, he enjoyed spending time with his grandbabies and great-grandbabies.

In addition to his parents, Edmond is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Loretta (King) Ball, a great-grandson, Rhylen Chase, brothers, Kelly Ball, Jimmy Ball, Denny Ball, and Robert Ball, and sisters, Sarah Lay and Ina King.

Surviving family include his son, Randall Ball (wife Melanie) of Strunk; his daughter, Rhonda Foster of Winfield, Tennessee; nine grandchildren, Amanda Ball, MaKayla Ball (and Cameron), Jazmine Reagan, Jordan Wilson (and Kameron), Tristan Ball, Karmon Ball, Jacob Bobbitt (and Chealtzie), Kristen Bailey (and Brian), and Emily Foster; seven great-grandchildren, Weston Bobbitt, Rhyder Bobbitt, Zaylee Moore, Maddox Bailey, Knox Wilson, Jett Wilson, and Kolbie Bobbitt; and a special family friend, Chelsea Felts.

Also surviving are Edmond’s sisters, Phyllis Moore (and Bill) of Strunk and Nevada Bryant of Tennessee; and a host of special friends and extended family that he loved dearly.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday after 5:00 pm until service time. Burial will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at the Jones Cemetery in Strunk, Kentucky.
