Doris Mae Morgan

Doris Mae Morgan, age 85 of Strunk, Kentucky departed this life on June 24, 2022 at the Williamsburg Health and Rehab Center in Williamsburg, Kentucky.  She was born to the late Rev.  Oscar Morgan and Cevil (Cornelius) Morgan on August 28, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her bother(s); Larry Morgan, Ralph Morgan, and Clyde Morgan.

She is survived by Brother Jim Morgan of Strunk, Kentucky and Sister Norma Smith and husband Harold of Somerset, Kentucky.   She is also survived by a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. 

Doris was a retired Educator at the McCreary County Board of Education for over 25 years and worked at Avon in Cincinnati, Ohio for several years.

 Visitation will be Tuesday June 28, 2022 from 12:00 until funeral hour at the Pine Knot Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the Pine Knot Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Kilby officiating. Interment will follow at the T. Chitwood Cemetery in Pine Knot, Kentucky.
