DORIS SUE DICK

Doris Sue Dick, age 54, of Pine Knot passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Spradlin and Bro. Donald Douglas officiating. Burial will be at the Angel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time for services.

Sue was born January 18, 1960, in Pine Knot, to the late William Henry and Martha (Hayes) Myers. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Ed Dick, a son Billy Joe Dick, three brothers Elbert Andrew Myers, Willard Gene Myers and Earnest Ray Myers, and three sisters; Melvina Sellars, Rosa Mae Colwell and Lois Ann Myers.

Surviving family include a daughter Martha Brummett of Pine Knot, two sons; Silas Dick Jr. (and girlfriend Danielle) of Williamsburg, and James Dick (and wife Casey) of Pine Knot, brothers; Walter Lewis Myers, Pine Knot, Ronald Joe Myers, Pine Knot, Larry Gale Myers, Indianapolis Indiana, Danny Myers, Kileen, Texes, Jerry lee Myers, Marshes Siding, Kentucky, two sisters; Lily Ruth Carter, Pine Knot and Mary Louise Baird, Robbins, Tennessee. She had six grandchildren; Sabrina Cheyene Brummett, Elizabeth Nicole Brummett, Ethan Michael Dick, Ciearra Nicole Miller, Taylor Jayele Young, and Rhayle Ann Young.

Sue had been a manager at McDonalds and a member of the United Apostolic Church in Somerset. Her favorite pastime was facebooking and talking with family and friends on the telephone.
