Donald Lee Stephens

Donald Lee Stephens age 53 of Strunk, Kentucky passed from this life on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at the Barbourville Hospital.

He was born on March 29, 1970 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Richard Stephens and Florine (White) Stephens. In addition to his parents, a niece, Brittany Stephens precedes him in death.

Surviving family include his sons, Steven Watson and Rusty Hayes; a daughter, Rachel Hooten; a grandson, Atticus Ransom Watson; and brothers, Jeff Stephens (and Jenny), Lonnie Stephens (and Renee), Rick Stephens, Bill Aull, and Ray Hughes (and Brenda).

Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Isaiah, Elizabeth, Jacob, Joesph, Abbigail, Kailey, Jonathon, Jacob, Jeremiah, Nicholas, Clarence Ray, Oscar, Brian, and Jeffery, and many other friends and family members.  

Donald was a free spirit. He worked as a handyman, laboring at different things. Donald also enjoy being outdoors, going to the woods, but beyond that, he was a family man. He loved nothing more than being with family, especially his children and the many he took claim to as his own.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Watson officiating. Burial to follow in the Upper Cal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday after 12:00 noon until service time.
