Dillard "Buster" Ray Eldridge

Dillard Ray “Buster” Eldridge age 56 years, 4 months, and 7 days of Stearns, Kentucky passed from this life on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center.

A private graveside service was held on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the Angel Cemetery with Bro. Robert Hatfield officiating.

He was born on March 28, 1962 in Whitley City, Kentucky to Dillard Eldridge and Rachel (Crabtree) Eldridge. Buster was of the Baptist faith. Prior to his illness, he made his living as a grave digger. Buster enjoyed being outdoors camping at rockcreek, jeep riding, hunting, and fishing. But above all things Buster loved spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death are is his father, Dillard, and a grandson, Nicholas Eldridge.

Surviving family include his wife, Karan Gibson Eldridge whom he married, May 14, 1983; sons, Dustin Eldridge and Gene Eldridge of Stearns, Kentucky; his mother, Rachel Watters (John) of Pine Knot, Kentucky; brothers, Billy Eldridge and Bobby Eldridge of Stearns, Kentucky; a sister, Linda Wilson (Ronnie) of Pine Knot, Kentucky; grandchildren, Lucas, Jaylen, Jayden, Gracie, and Jaxlee Eldridge; and a special sister-in-law, Debbie Gibson.

Pine Knot Funeral Home assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
