Dennis George Kangas

Dennis George Kangas age 90 of Louisville, Kentucky passed from this life on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at his home.

He was born August 14, 1932 in Painsville, Ohio to the late George Kangas and Jennie (Noponen) Kangas. In addition to his parents, Dennis is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Baird) Kangas.

Surviving family include his daughters Debbie Higdon and husband, Tony, of Fredericksburg, Indiana and Lisa Campbell and husband, Bobby, of Fishersville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Beth, Sara, Jessica, Linzy, and Melissa; and great-grandchildren, Samantha, Alley, Haley, and Wesley; and great-great-grandchildren, Liam and Addison.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Hayes Creek Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post 115 of Stearns.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
