DAVID WARREN YOUNG

Mr. David Young, age 45, of Plainfield, Indiana, passed away May 25, 2008.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 29, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Carter Cemetery at Marshes Siding, Kentucky.

David was born at Marshes Siding on June 17, 1962, to the late Wendell and Wilda Mae Young (Sexton). He worked for R.S.R. Qumecto in Indianapolis for the past 18 years. He was a member of the Plainfield Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Surviving family include his long time companion Rose Smith of Plainfield and her children, Charles Brandon and James Stanley Smith whom David help raise. He loved Rose's grandchildren like his own and enjoyed spending all his free time with them. Their names are Clayton Michael and Jesse Charles.

David also leaves behind three sisters Janet Mays (and husband Tobey) of Oneida, Tennessee, Velma Schmider (and husband Denis) of Granite Falls, North Carolina, and Robin Young of Pine Knot.
