David Lenville Grant, Sr.

David Lenville Grant, Sr. age 58 of Winfield, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born December 1, 1962 in Scott County, Tennessee to the late James Edward Grant and Kathleen E. (King) Grant. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Columbus Wayne Anderson, Larry Wayne Grant, and Howard Edward Grant.

Surviving family include his sons, David Lenville Grant, Jr. of Morning View, Kentucky and Zachary Ryan Grant (and Alyssa) of Nashville, Tennessee; a brother, Ronald Grant (and Thelma) of Sparta, Kentucky; sisters, Beulah Fay Thomas (and Chris) of Taylormill, Kentucky, Sherrie Friedman of Crittenden, Kentucky, Dena Thomas (and Eric) of Morning View, Kentucky, Lena Grant of Pine Knot, Kentucky, and Regena Kannady of Winfield, Tennessee; a sister-in-law, Teri Grant; and a host of nieces and nephews that David loved dearly.

David was a demolition supervisor specializing in hazmat removal. David was also proud to have been an Assistant Fire Chief in Kenton, Kentucky in past time. He enjoyed camping, carpentry, and spending time with family and friends. David will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with words of comfort by David's brother-in-law, Eric Thomas. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday after 5:00 until service time at the funeral home. David will be laid to rest on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Ryan Family Cemetery in Gumfork, Tennessee.
