DANIEL LEE PERRY

Daniel Lee Perry, age 36 of Childers Ridge Road in Stearns passed away on Sunday December 12, 2009 following an illness.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 16, 2009 at 1pm, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Dow Goodin and Rev. John Goodin officiating. Burial will follow in the Higginbottham Cemetery at Beulah Heights. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-9 at the funeral home.

Dan was born in Franklin, Indiana on March 6, 1973. He was a former finish painter for Lake View Yachts in Wayne County, a former Volunteer Fireman for the South McCreary Fire Department and a member of the Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Elvie Waters Perry and 2 sons, Daniel Lee Perry Jr. age 10 and Matthew Lee Perry, age 16 months. His parents, Larry and Brenda Moore of Stearns, and a sister, Dawn Snider and her husband Curtis of Parkers Lake. His paternal Grandfather, Clarence Moore of Pine Knot.

Preceding him in death are his maternal grandparents, Carl and Jean Perry and his maternal grandmother, Julie Moore.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family of Daniel Lee Perry in his funeral arrangements.
