Chuckie Clinton Duncan

Chuckie Clinton Duncan, age 58, of Whitley City, Kentucky, passed from this life on Sunday, October 4, 2020. 

He was born November 18, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Clinton Bain Duncan and Wilma Jean (Canada) Duncan. In addition to his parents, Chuck is preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Luckie Duncan, Billy Duncan, and Norman Canada; sisters, Geneva "Nevie" Duncan, Brenda Duncan Brown, and Vonda Duncan Martin. 

Surviving family include his longtime life partner, Tammy Messer; sons, Clinton C. Duncan and wife, Kirsten, and Spc. William E. Duncan and wife, Courtney; a daughter, Donna Kelly and Mitchell Smith; 6 granddaughters, 5 grandsons, and 2 grandbabies arriving next year as well as his first wife Lorene Hancock Duncan of Whitley City.

Also surviving are brothers, Kelly Duncan and wife, Pat, and Larry Mangus and wife, Sheila; sisters, Virginia "Jenny" Abrams and husband, Bruce, Bonnie Duncan Hursong, Wonda Duncan, Rhonda Duncan Perry and husband, Mike, and Connie Duncan Clippert and husband, Eric; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends that loved Chuck dearly. 

Chuck was a special friend to many and always enjoyed making others laugh and smile. He was an outdoorsman who liked to hunt and fish, work on cars, basically anything he could do outdoors. Chuck also volunteered for the Wiborg (North McCreary) Fire Department. Chuck was also involved in x-box gaming where he made many friends from all over. He had many hobbies in his life, but his main focus was on his family, especially his grandchildren who he loved so much. He will be sadly missed.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in the Chapel of the Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Derrick Phipps officiating. Burial will follow in the McCreary Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2020 at the funeral home.
